Fraud is a serious and growing problem in all sectors of the economy.  The latest statistics from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners reveal that organizations lose 7% of their annual revenues to fraud.  The median fraud loss in that same study was $175,000, with more than 25% of reported frauds topping the $1 million mark!

The presentation will address three topics in forensic accounting and fraud examination: (a) types of fraud (b) forces that combine to induce someone to commit fraud and (c) basic steps in fraud examination.
